I recently moved to Wilmington from Las Vegas, NV and love the change! I worked in the 1031 Exchange industry for over 7 years and enjoyed the many challenges and obstacles the industry had to offer but decided it was time for a change. I made the move to Wilmington, obtained my Real Estate license and joined with Live Oak Real Estate.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my family at the beach!

I have been a Real Estate professional for over 28 years in both
residential and resort properties. If you are looking for real estate in
this area I would love to help you find it.

Walt spent 20 years in the automotive business, as a technician, body man,
parts and service. Licensed in 1996, he is 'out in the field' more than
anyone else at Live Oak as he makes sure that all work on all properties
is being done correctly and to client specifications. When he's not
driving all over North Carolina in his Ford diesel truck, he enjoys golf
and kayaking, as well as playing with his 3 grandsons.

Born and raised here in Wilmington, I have a working knowledge of how the city ticks. While I’ve grown to love and appreciate the bounty this area has to offer; there are a great many aspects that I still discover to this day. Maybe that’s why Wilmington continues to be one of the most sought after areas in the country to live and call home. After becoming weary of the nonstop travel from my previous career in the environmental field, I wandered through the doors of Live Oak Real Estate and haven’t looked back since. Since 2004, I’ve worked with Live Oak as a real estate broker; and I’ve also attained the requirements to be a North Carolina certified residential appraiser. When I’m not helping you find the home you want to call “home,” I can usually be found somewhere surrounded by saltwater.

I am a native Wilmingtonian and have enjoyed watching the port city of Wilmington grow. I love it here so much that I am planning on being here forever! You really have found a tiny piece of heaven if you are considering a move here or investing in the area. While working for the airlines I attended UNC-Wilmington and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. I met my husband while earning my education and soon after being married we started our family. Today, we have been blessed with three beautiful, talented and sweet little girls.....Savannah, Keeley-Shea and Claire-Emma. Our family has a love for dachshunds too.....Maggie-May and Chester.
The real estate industry provides me great joy in assisting others whether they are buying or selling. You can always count on the fact that your needs are of utmost importance to me and I will listen to you. I work very diligently to represent my clients in the highest degree. I believe in character and integrity and doing business the right way. I look forward to meeting you soon and helping you as well. Please contact me so I can learn more about you and where your interests lie.
When I'm not working, I most enjoy being with my family. "Live, Laugh, Love......" Treasure each day. Please allow me to help make your real estate transaction worry-free so you too can enjoy every moment.

Live Oak Real Estate's original YANKEE! My husband and I moved down from rural Flemington, NJ almost twelve years ago. We thought we came for the beautiful beaches and weather, but were blessed with so many warm and dear friends ... from work, church and neighbors. We now reside in Leland, NC, just over the Cape Fear River from Wilmington.
My education background started with a college degree in elementary education and now concentrates on the many facets of real estate. I've
been with Live Oak Real Estate almost since its beginnings...I've worked with homebuyers and investors, mainly in the Brunswick county communities, but do cover New Hanover and Pender counties too! So, give a call....

Ken has been with Live Oak Real Estate
since 2004. He oversees the valuations dept. of Live Oak and works to
provide banks with broker price opinions, giving them a market value of
their acquisitions. He is also a licensed Broker, and is happy to help
you with any of your home buying needs.

Hi, I am Rob Norman. I grew up in the Foothills of North Carolina in Lincoln County. It is there that I learned to love the beauty of our land and the glory of creation. Friends introduced me to this area in the winter of 2003. “Come on down Dee, you will love it here, we’ve got a great beach house and you are looking a little too pale”, they said. So I did, jumped on a plane, left the snow behind only to discover palm trees, balmy breezes and the most pristine beaches when I arrived.
Soon after I replaced my snow shovel for a sand shovel and relocated to Southport, NC., with pets, furniture and my fiancé in tow.
Yes, my friends up North questioned my sanity, but every winter they visit me and many have also relocated themselves, or have seen the investment potential, and have purchased land or second homes for future equity.
Since my first introduction to this absolutely gorgeous area, I have assisted many others relocate. There truly is something for everyone here. Need some city life? No problem, we have Wilmington, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC. Commuter? Two airports close by. Plus, there are great restaurants, especially if you are a seafood lover, Yum, Yum. Love to golf, fish or boat, just ask me. Kids? Our school systems are rated very high.
Let’s see is there anything I have forgotten? Oh yeah, we do allow hammocks, bare feet, and afternoon naps.
So give me a call, I would be happy to assist you in finding your cottage or castle.

Originally I'm from Maryland, but have lived in North Carolina for 20 years. I earned a Batchelor's degree in busines from High Point University. I had spent 16 years owning/running a photography business and while I love photography I was ready for a change. Real Estate was a natural fit for me. I earned my license in 2006 and have been working with Live Oak Real Estate ever since.
When not working I enjoy riding my horses (Ivy & Little Man), beach trips & vacations.

Originally from Texas, I have resided in the mountains of Colorado the majority of my adult life. Several years ago, my daughter met and married a fifth-generation man from Wilmington and the rest is history. Welcoming my granddaughter, Miss Holladay Stovall last year, I have planted my roots and plan on flourishing in this abundant region. Home Sweet Home. Wilmington is a vibrant area and a fantastic place I can continue to fish, golf, kayak and boat...paradise! Music is also a huge part of my life.
I am a Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and a certified commercial/residential appraiser. My background includes operating a construction management division within my real estate consulting firm in mountain resort areas as well as ranching communities throughtout southwestern Colorado.
Cape Fear offers a multitude of opportunities and I look forward to helping both newcomers and old-timers find their own piece of paradise. Whether you're looking for a personal residence, a commercial investment or simply want to buy, rehabilitate and flip properties, I will make each step of the way feel like a walk in the park.
I service properties from Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington to Brunswick County golf resorts and beach towns. Hampstead and Burgaw in Pender County are incredible growth areas to check out.
So, Let's Get Together and Have Some Fun! Everyday is a great day to buy real estate!

After 14 years in the treated lumber business in sales, I was laid off after a big merger. So I decided to get into real estate in 1994.
Real estate has been good to me, and with my degree in Economics, I enjoy following what is happening in all aspects of this business, from housing, to loans and watching all sorts of economic indicators, trying to predict what will happen next!
When I'm not working, I enjoy golf, scrapbooking, boating (we have a 17' Whaler) and most of all, 3 darling grandchildren!

In 1988 our family saw our oldest son off to join the Navy and shipped off to the Middle East. The opportunity for a new position in Raleigh became available to my husband and we decided to make the move and so off we went with our youngest son to live the big city... We lived there for 9 years while I worked with Wake County School System managing the nutrition department of an elemetary school. My husband's job then moved us to Wilmington 15 years ago. At that time I went to work for New Hanover County Schools in their Nutrition department. Upon retiring from Child Nutrition I decided I wanted to change careers and go into real estate. I have always enjoyed working with the public and what better choice than helping families find the perfect home. I am so fortunate to be living in an area that is more like being on vacation each day then just a place to work and live. I enjoy working with clients moving to our beautiful city and showing them all of the advantages of living here at the coast. While living in Wilmington I have seen it grow from a sleepy port city to a bustling city of visitors and new business. I take great pride in making the purchase of your new home as stress free as possible. Helping you negotiate the best price and moving through each step of the process to the closing table is a priority with me. I look forward to meeting you soon.

I grew up in Lexington, a small town in central North Carolina. I worked 10 years in sales and marketing in the tobacco industry for Philip Morris USA. For the next 23 years I owned my own agency selling insurance and financial products. In 2005 I became a real estate broker and relocated to Carolina Beach.
My philosophy is to have fun in everything you do. If I can help you find your dream home or a vacation home here in paradise just give me a call. You’ll be glad you did.
When I’m not working I enjoy turkey hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with my family especially my 2 grandkids.

Hi, I'm Chuck Carter.
Born in Atlanta, GA and raised wherever the Federal Government sent my mother: Georgia,Texas,Virginia,Washington D.C. I know all about moving.
I came to the Wilmington area with friends for the Azalea Festival in the spring of 1982. In 3 days I knew I would eventually live at Carolina Beach. I bought my 1st home at Carolina Beach in 1986 when I was 24 years old, and it was my 34th residence.
I got my license in 1991 and real estate has been my full time career from that day forward. I knew that someday everyone else would find this wonderful region of southeastern North Carolina, called "Cape Fear ". Boy, was I right ! The Greater Wilmington/Beaches area has really grown in the 27 years since I first came here. I have traveled all over the country, but nowhere else enjoys the rich and diverse lifestyle this area has to offer. The beautiful beaches, ocean, waterways, the Cape Fear River, and the Historic District make this a place to live that is truly unique.
With 18yrs experience in real estate here, I can help you realize your dreams of becoming part of the Wilmington way of life.
If you already call Wilmington home, let me know what your "GOALS " are,and let's get started. Moving UP, moving DOWN, Residential, Commercial: I do it all. Call me with all your real estate needs, I look forward to hearing from you.
